摘  要: In this talk, I will review some basic background in Lie groupoids, and then present the analytic index morphism using deformation groupoid approach. As an application, I will discuss the geometric Baum-Conens assembly map for any twisted Lie groupoids. This talk is based on joint work with Paulo Carrillo.

报告人简介：Bai-Ling Wang(王百灵)，曾就读于华东师范大学，北京大学，澳大利亚阿德莱德大学。曾经在波恩Max-Pluck 数学所和苏黎世大学工作。现为澳大利亚国立大学（Australia National University）教授（Reader）。主要研究方向：几何分析（线性和非线性）得到的不变量，尤其是从理论物理中产生的几何不变量。 在Trans. AMS,  Adv. Math., Comm. Math. Phys.,  J. K-Theory,  C. R. Math. Acad. Sci. Paris 等国际数学期刊上发表科研论文20余篇。
