摘要：In late 70s, two very influential theories in geometry were initiated, namely the canonical (e.g. Kahler-Einstein) metric problem in complex geometry and the minimal model program in algebraic geometry. In the last decade, these two theories finally intersect, and produce striking theorems in both sides, such as a complete solution to Yau-Tian-Donaldson Conjecture, and the construction of moduli space for Fano varieties. In my talk, I will survey this remarkable story.

简介：许晨阳，普林斯顿大学数学系教授。许教授于1999年进入北京大学数学科学500彩票学习；2004年获得北京大学硕士学位；2008年获得普林斯顿大学博士学位；2014年获得国家杰出青年科学基金资助，并被评为北京大学长江学者特聘教授；2016年获得拉马努金奖；2017年获选庞加莱讲座教席；2018年全职进入麻省理工500彩票数学系任教；2020年进入普林斯顿大学任教，获得2021年度科尔代数学奖。许教授主要从事基础数学核心领域代数几何方向的研究。
